As Chris Strzalka’s and Julie Strzalka’s kids were growing up, they felt the childhood years were slipping away too quickly. While in London in 2017, the couple first saw the technology to produce the realistic 3D images.
It was an “Aha!” moment. They immediately realized how much they would have appreciated having these beautiful 3D figurines of their preschoolers, young athletes, and of special occasions, such as birthday parties.
Already popular in Europe and Asia, these 3D sculptures are relatively new to the United States. The Strzalkas wanted to bring these realistic 3D sculptures to their family, friends, and the entire Chicagoland community.
When they returned, they researched the best type of equipment and technology to use. In 2018, they launched My 3D Mini Me.
My 3D Mini Me supports the values that are important to Chris and Julie:
- Service Over Self (customer and community)
- Community Involvement
- Dedication to Family Memories
- Commitment to Solidifying Memories
To allow people to hold on to the everyday and special moments of their children, self, significant others, and pets.
